“Who knows what one object will tell another?”
~ Joseph Cornell
This statement by Joseph Cornell sums up how I view my assemblage art. You never know what you might find in the parts stockpile and how it might relate to something you have just found. The magic is in the objects' juxtaposition and the feeling you get when it’s totally “right.”
I have been an artist all my life, working in various mediums from oil paints to computer graphics, but over the past several years, I have become immersed in assemblage sculpture. I love discovering discarded treasures that will find a new life as art.
